Privacy notice
This notice explains how ZOCREST handles personal information collected through this website, its intake and callback forms, its free tools and its secure document upload.
Who we are
ZOCREST provides accounting, bookkeeping, tax and related advisory services. Our address is 4858 Howard Hughes Parkway, Las Vegas, Nevada 89169. For privacy questions or requests, email support@zocrest.com with "Privacy request" in the subject, or write to us at this address.
Information we collect
- Requests and callbacks. Your name, email address, phone number, company, how you prefer to be contacted, the best time to call and your time zone, the type of help you need, your deadline, how far behind your books are, a short description, and your confirmation that we may contact you.
- Tool selections. If you start from one of our free tools, the request also records which tool you used and what you selected there, for example an IRS notice code or the credit categories you ticked. The tools themselves run in your browser and send nothing until you send a request.
- Uploaded documents. Files you choose to upload after sending a request, such as bank statements, tax returns, payroll reports or accounting exports, with their names, sizes and a checksum used to confirm they arrived intact.
- Campaign reference. If you arrive through a link that carries a campaign reference, for example a link in an email from us, we record that reference with your request. It is kept in your browser tab until you close it, not in a cookie.
- Security information. To protect the forms from abuse we keep short-lived counters keyed to a one-way hash of your network address, not the address itself. Our hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Please do not type passwords, full account numbers or Social Security numbers into the request form. Statements and returns belong in the secure upload or another secure method we agree with you.
How we use your information
We use your request to evaluate it, contact you in the way you asked, scope and discuss a possible engagement, keep a record of our conversation and prevent misuse. Uploaded documents are used to scope and perform the work you request. Our team may add internal notes to your request. Sending a request does not add you to a marketing mailing list.
If you become a client, your engagement letter and the agreed process for sharing records govern the information needed to do the work.
How uploaded documents are protected
- Every file is encrypted with AES-256 before it is stored, and it can only be decrypted by our private inbox.
- The inbox is restricted to authorized ZOCREST personnel and protected by a password and an authenticator code.
- Upload permission is tied to your request: the link on your confirmation is valid for 24 hours, and a private upload link our team sends you is valid for 7 days. Anyone holding such a link can add files to that request, so please do not share it. Only common document types are accepted.
- Files are deleted from this website automatically after 30 days, or sooner when our team removes them. After deletion we keep only a record that a file was received, with its size and dates; its name and contents are erased. If you engage us, the copies needed for the work are kept under your engagement letter.
- File names and checksums are encrypted too, so a copy of our database alone does not reveal what you sent.
Service providers and access
- This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Requests and uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare D1 databases and are available only to authorized ZOCREST personnel through the protected inbox.
- We may use an internal team messaging tool to alert staff that a new request or upload has arrived. Those alerts contain only the request reference, the type of help, the deadline, how it was sent, the company name and a file count; never your email address, phone number, message or file names.
- We may share information with service providers as needed to operate the site and respond to you, or when required by law. We do not sell the information you submit.
Cookies and analytics
The public website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The administration area uses a session cookie for authorized staff only. Your browser tab keeps the campaign reference and, while an upload link is valid, the permission to upload files for your request; closing the tab clears them. Upload links carry their permission after a # sign, which browsers never send to our servers.
Retention and security
We keep request information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage related business discussions, maintain necessary business records and meet legal obligations. Uploaded files follow the 30-day rule above. Connections to this site are encrypted. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your requests
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information or files you have submitted, or withdraw your consent to further contact. We may need to verify your identity and may keep information where the law requires or permits it. Email support@zocrest.com or write to the address above, including the email address or reference from your original request. Please do not send identification documents.
Children and changes
This site is intended for business inquiries and is not directed to children. We may update this notice as our practices change; the version on this page describes our current practices.
